I’m doing my research
paper on an island called Grenada from the Caribbean. Grenada is known for
their spices and refer as the land of spices. If you’re from the united states,
you may ask why do they refer to Grenada as the island of spices? The answer to
that is that Grenada culture center around spices. In my research paper I will
be talking about why people come to Grenada and what are some places to visit
in Grenada. Grenada is a mix race. As soon as you land in Grenada they advise
you to go to the spice market at its busiest hours early in the morning. While traveling
to the island of spice you must try the following spices turmeric (saffron),
bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and all spice (pimento). Grenada makes
nutmeg and mace crops and is also one of the largest exporters. Gouyave nutmeg
processing station is a place where all the spices are made at. They allow visitors
in for a tour to see how all the spices are being made. If you are looking for
someone were to stay at in Grenada, you should stay at the spice island beach
resort. Many people come to this resort cause it’s the best one in Grenada and it’s
a five-star hotel. This resort is great for couples to have their wedding at
and a wonderful place to stay for a honeymoon. So that’s your answer all these
places reflect the reason why Grenada is refer as the island of spices. What I may
research next about Grenada is how much money does they make from selling
spices.
